To come together to celebrate the seasons and the rhythms of nature, to connect with the ancient magics of the land, to feel the presence of deities and spirits, to honor the wisdom of your innate magic, to gather in sacred rituals and circles, to be fully witnessed and celebrated for your unique magic?

I am thrilled to make this dream a reality - and you are invited to join me at my Pagan Women's Empowerment Retreat in Decorah, IA from Thursday, September 11th to Sunday, September 14th, 2025.
Gather With Others to Honor and Share Your Magic
Here's some of the magic we'll be brewing up over the course of the weekend:

Ticket Includes: Your indoor stay, dinner Thursday, all three meals for Friday, all three meals for Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, and activity/craft supplies.
Meals:
Prior to the retreat, please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Snacks will be provided in addition to the main meals.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
If you have to cancel for whatever reason, full refunds will be issued up until August 28, 2025 (two weeks prior).

Who is this Retreat For?
This retreat is ideal for you if:
- You consider yourself to be a pagan (although, really labels are arbitrary)
- You follow some version of earth-based spirituality
- You're new to exploring paganism, mythology, folklore, and witchcraft and want to learn more
- You're an experienced practitioner and wish to connect with others
- You feel connected to the old ways while having a firm foothold in the 21st century
- You are ready to or have been exploring your own magic
- You feel connected to or want to learn more about Norse, Celtic, and/or Germanic deities and Spirits
- You want to connect with other healers, witches, and medicine women
What Are the Intentions For This Retreat?
- To further step into your power as a witch, healer, energy worker, or medicine woman
- To connect and share space with other likeminded women
- To deepen your connection to Spirit and to the earth through blóta (ceremonies)

My Personal Code for Retreat Planning and Facilitation
- I design and create retreats that are intended to promote relaxation, healing, and evolutionary shifts at the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical levels.
- Before beginning any ceremony, I ask for permission from and inform the local land spirits.
- I strive to create a retreat environment that is accessible and inclusive to women of all backgrounds and paths, ages (18+), abilities, and experience levels.
- I let my intuition guide me in the creation of ceremonies, activities, and workshops for retreats.
About the Host
My name is Laina Pilkenton and I am so grateful to be hosting this retreat in my home state. I began my journey into spirituality by studying Core Shamanism, Andean Shamanism, Sound Healing, and Reiki. From there, I felt the call of the Northern tradition. And so, I began working directly with the Norse gods and goddesses prior to learning more traditional ways from a teacher.
